Getting started
A good start on Glass is simple: create your account, make your profile feel like yours, share a photograph you care about, and find photographers whose work makes you want to look closer.
Create your account
You can sign up with an email address or Sign in with Apple. Your username becomes part of your Glass profile address, so choose one you will be comfortable sharing.
Viewer is free and is designed for browsing, searching, appreciating, and following up to three members. Standard adds unlimited posting, Series, a public profile, and full community access. Patron includes everything in Standard, plus early access, three gift memberships each year, a profile badge, and exclusive app icons.
New yearly Standard and Patron memberships include a 7-day free trial. Monthly memberships begin immediately and do not include a trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your provider charges the yearly plan you selected. See Membership and billing for current prices and plan details.
Use Glass on any platform
Your account and work stay in sync across the web, iPhone and iPad, Android, and Windows. Use glass.photo in a browser, or download the app from the App Store, Play Store, or Microsoft Store.
On a Mac, the web app is the desktop experience. See Platform guides for installation details and features unique to each platform.
Make your profile yours
Add a recognizable profile picture, write a short bio, and include your website or social link if you want people to see more. You can also choose whether your profile is public on the web or visible only to Glass members.
You can change these details later. See Your profile for every profile setting.
Share your first photograph
Standard and Patron members can publish. A post contains one photograph, an optional description, and up to three categories.
Choose the photograph you want to post.
Add a description if it needs context.
Choose up to three categories.
Publish it to your followers' chronological feeds.
See Sharing your work for formats, metadata, Series, and publishing tools.
Find photographers to follow
Open Explore to browse Members, Categories, Cameras, Lenses, Series, and Highlights. You can also search for a visual idea such as "35mm street" or "misty morning lake." Open a photographer's profile and follow them if you want their future work in your feed.
See Discovering photography for every discovery path. Your Following feed stays strictly chronological.
