Sharing your work
Glass is built for sharing finished photographs without turning them into content for an algorithm. You can publish a single photo, build a Series, or post directly from supported editing tools.
Post a photograph
Standard and Patron members can publish. On iPhone, iPad, Android, or the web, open the upload control and choose the photograph you want to share.
Choose the photograph.
Add a description if it needs context.
Choose up to three categories.
Review the available metadata and publish.
A post contains one photograph. To publish several photographs together, create or add to a Series.
Prepare your file
On the web, upload JPEG or PNG. On iPhone and iPad, choose photos from your library; RAW files are converted to JPEG before upload. Prefer a JPEG or PNG export with EXIF and an embedded color profile (sRGB or P3) when you want reliable metadata and color.
Keep web uploads under 50 MB. Ultra-wide panoramas are not supported. Landscape photos can be up to 3:1, and portrait photos up to 9:16.
Glass keeps your original upload and creates optimized display copies for other members. For processing, color, zoom, and photo protection, see Image quality.
Choose categories and write a description
Choose up to three categories describing the photograph itself. Categories help people discover work by genre or subject without relying on hashtags. A description is optional; use it when context, location, process, or intention adds something the photograph cannot say alone.
Manage metadata
When EXIF is present, Glass can display camera, lens, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and capture date. You can review and edit the fields available during upload, and edit the post later if something needs correcting.
If you see a second focal length in parentheses, such as 50mm (75mm), that value comes from the FocalLengthIn35mmFormat field in your file when it differs from the native focal length. Glass does not calculate it from crop. If the field is missing, only the native focal length appears.
Editing and export software sometimes strips metadata. If details are missing, check that your export preset includes EXIF and that the values exist in the exported file. Glass strips sensitive metadata such as GPS from display copies and never displays photo location.
Create or add to a Series
A Series is a collection you can arrange and grow over time: a trip, a 365 project, a body of portraits, or any connected set of photographs. A new Series needs a title and at least two photos. You can add up to 10 photos at a time.
Start an upload and choose multiple photographs, or open Series from your profile.
Create a Series or choose an existing one.
Add a title and optional description, arrange the photographs, and publish.
You can add new uploads or existing Glass posts later. New photographs create one feed entry for the publishing batch. Moving already-published posts into a Series does not send them through the feed again.
Post from Lightroom Classic
Glass provides a publish service plugin for Lightroom Classic. Download it from your Glass settings, install it through Lightroom Classic's Plug-in Manager, then authorize your account. Drag photographs to the Glass publish collection and publish from Lightroom.
Descriptions and export settings can be prepared in Lightroom. Review the published post on Glass if you need to add categories or adjust details.
Post from Capture One
The Capture One integration publishes directly from Capture One through a Glass recipe or plugin workflow. Install the integration from your Glass settings, connect your account, choose the Glass output recipe, and publish the selected photograph.
Edit, hide, or delete a post
Open one of your photographs and choose Edit Photo to change its description, categories, available metadata, or profile visibility. Hiding removes it from your profile grid but keeps the post in Glass and in relevant feeds. Deleting removes the post, its comments, and its appreciations permanently.

Share beyond Glass
Public posts can be shared by copying their link or using your device's share sheet. Members-only posts require the viewer to have an active paid membership. You can also share your public profile or a public Series link.
