Your feed
Your home feed contains photographs from the people you chose to follow. It is strictly chronological, with the newest posts first. Glass does not reorder the feed, insert posts from strangers, or rank work by popularity.
Your choices shape what you see. Follow photographers whose future work you want at home, and use Explore when you want to wander beyond them.
What appears in the Following feed
New photographs appear according to the time they were posted. If several people publish while you are away, their work stays in that order when you return. Appreciations, popularity, and viewing history do not affect placement.
Series are designed to grow without flooding the feed. A batch of new Series photos creates one feed entry with a preview. Adding already-published posts to a Series does not send those photographs through the feed again.
Open any feed photo to see its description, comments, appreciations, categories, and available EXIF. Image quality explains display resolution, color, and photo protection.
Follow or unfollow a photographer
Open a photographer's profile and select the follow control. Their future posts will begin appearing in your home feed; older work stays on their profile rather than moving to the top of your feed.
Select the same control again to unfollow. Future posts stop appearing at home, but past comments and appreciations remain, and you can still visit the profile when its visibility allows it.
Following and Followers
Your profile keeps these connections in two places:
Following lists the photographers whose future posts you chose for your feed.
Followers lists the members who follow you.
Viewer members can follow up to three people. Standard and Patron members can follow without that limit. See Membership and billing for plan differences.
If your feed feels quiet
The home feed reflects what the people you follow have posted, so it may be quiet when they have not shared new work. Explore categories, camera and lens feeds, Series, and Highlights to find more photographers. Following a wider range of people adds their future work without changing the chronological order.
