If I hide a photo from my profile, is it private?

No. Hide from profile only takes the photo off your profile grid. The photo stays on Glass, and its link, comments, and appreciations stay too. Other members can still come across it in feeds and in the category, camera, and lens pages where it applies.

To hide a photo, open it, select the three-dot (…) icon, choose Edit Photo, and turn on Hide from profile under Visibility. On iPhone and iPad, use the edit button at the bottom right of the photo's detail view. Turn the switch off to bring the photo back.

If you want fewer people to see your work, set your profile to Members only under Profile → Settings → Privacy. That hides your profile and photos from the public web, search engines, and free Viewer accounts. Members with an active paid membership can still see them, and Glass can't hide a photo from every member.

To remove a photo completely, delete it. Deleting also removes its comments and appreciations for good.

See Your profile and Privacy Controls.
