Monthly Category Favorites — Texture

It’s rough not to inundate you with texture puns. We find it hard to resist, given just how much you all came through with November's category. The creativity this month was shear brilliance. From landscapes to macro, living things to inanimate objects, the argument has been made and won: texture and feeling are all around us, in a myriad of stunning ways. What a sharp bunch you are!

Some images convey warm and fuzzy, others felt frayed, rugged, prickly, and cold. The scope of what this community showcased with texture took us on a diverse sensory experience. The images below do more than express the theme of texture. They invite the viewer to imagine touch, like these photos can be felt, not just seen.
