Light and Love on the Water with Jennifer

All of Jennifer Smutek’s photography carries a thoughtful, personal touch. Whether she’s exploring nature or documenting everyday life, her work feels grounded and quietly observant.

But we were especially struck by her Series Chasing Light with Dad. It's a heartfelt collection of images captured out on the Chesapeake Bay with her father.

These photos speak softly, but carry so much: light filtering through mist, reflections on still water, the calm of familiar rituals.
