October's Monthly Category — Insect

Tiny terrors. Big photo energy.Monthly Categories

They crawl, they fly, they sting, they shimmer.

October’s category is Insect and it’s time to get a little closer.

Whether you’re marveling at the intricate patterns of a butterfly’s wings or catching the chaotic blur of a bee in flight, insects are endlessly fascinating photographic subjects. They offer color, detail, movement, and personality… if you know how to look.

This month, we’re celebrating the tiny creatures that surround us. Those that buzz, bite, build, and burrow. From delicate macro studies to environmental portraits of ants hard at work, we’re excited (and maybe a little creeped out) to see what you spot.

And hey, it’s October. If your submission leans a bit spooky, even better.

Happy haunting.

Happy hunting.
