Alignment & Control: Glass 5.1

We've just rolled out Glass 5.1.

This update leans deeper into Liquid Glass visually and experientially. If you thought Glass felt at home on iOS, you'll enjoy this! Huge round of applause to our resident iOS mage, João.

Even More New Liquid Glass

This is the big one. We’ve integrated more of the native Liquid Glass components across the app, knitting the interface even closer to Apple’s new design language. Expect greater depth, smoother translucency, and a more harmonious feel throughout Glass. It’s not just about looking right, it’s about feeling right.

But that's not all. In this update, we've sprinkled in a couple feature requests from our community.

Hide Series Preview – Now an Option

Want your Home Feed to be all about the photos and nothing else? We’ve added a Show Series Preview toggle under Appearance. Flip it off and keep the focus on single images in your feed without the preview overlay.

Upload from Files

You asked for flexibility, and we listened. There’s now a New Upload from Files option. Upload photos not just from your Photos library, but from the Files app too. Bring in that perfect shot from wherever you keep it.
