Welcome to Glass!

Over 18 months in the making, Glass is live in the App Store! After testing and building with our private beta, we’re thrilled to open the community to everyone. We’re invite-only to start to ensure a quality experience. What’s that mean in practice?

If you signed up for the waiting list on our website any time over the last 18 months, you’re still on it. If you haven’t, download Glass to get your spot in line – we’re rapidly rolling out invites to the waiting list. Every membership has a 14-day free trial. After that, it’s $4.99 USD/month or, at launch, $29.99 USD/year.

Glass members will also have invite codes to share.

Using an invite

Whether you get an invite from a Glass member or an invite via email, the redemption process is the same. Use the unique six-digit code to activate your Glass account. After that, you’ll wrap up the profile creation process.

Sending an invite

Once you’re a Glass member, you’ll have three invite codes to share with other photographers. The codes are found in the Community tab. Tap the icon in the bottom right to bring up the share sheet for your invite codes. Don’t feel the need to be precious with your invites — we’ll be sending out more to the community on a regular basis.

As we prepped for launch, we were fortunate enough to be able to set aside some time to talk with Om Malik about Glass. We talked through the decisions we’ve made up to this point in building Glass. Glass is an independent company and we loved the opportunity to talk about why we made that choice.
